Children at SCC

At Sutton Christian Centre we believe that God has as much of a heart for the children of our community as the grown ups. We want to partner with families to encourage and release the potential in all the children in our care, to become active followers of Jesus.

Our vision is to enable the children to grow in the knowledge of the love of God. We have a number of age appropriate groups.

Child protection coordinators
The church child protection coordinators are responsible for ensuring Sutton Christian Centre is meeting its commitments to safeguard and promote the welfare of all our children and young people. They are responsible for ensuring that SCC has a current child protection policy which is reviewed annually and that all our staff (paid and unpaid) are safely recruited and trained to fulfil their roles in accordance with the Children Act 1989, Children Act 2004, Working Together 2013 and London Child Protection Procedures (2010).
